As well as considering the potential impact of our operation on our local environment, we feel it is important to ensure we minimise any actions that are detrimental to the world.
As well as doing our best to look after the local environment, at Comtec we are striving to get the best out of our people and ensure that we all work in a safe and enjoyable environment.
In recent years Corporate Social Responsibility has been a phrase used in the business sector with increasing regularity. It bases its roots in ethical business practices ensuring that all stakeholders get a fair deal. When we started investigating we realised that at Comtec, what is ingrained in our day-to-day business fulfilled a great deal of our company's Corporate Social Responsibility requirements.
Rather than hiring in a company to off-set our carbon emissions and merely donating money to charity, at Comtec we are committed to taking responsibility for the impact of our activities on our stakeholders and the environment. The following pages detail the ways in which we are dedicated to affecting the world around us for the better with our hands on approach.
